Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris - Goodbye

I do believe this is one of my favorite songs...ever.

Becks, I'd never heard that before but that is a great song. I discovered Steve Earl in the late 80's (I think) when I heard the song "Copperhead Road" on the local classic rock station. Guy is one more song writer.

He's a bit like Keith Richards to me; I'm shocked he's still alive after treating his body like a science experiement over the years.

My memories go back further than Ted's (why wouldn't they?) to the Quarter Moon In A Ten Cent Town album. I think I was in live with Emmylou Harris in those days

Yup, this was a bonus video. Steve Earle's incredible writing and Emmylou singing back-up. I think she's sung with everyone in the music industry who means anything...PLUS she's a ridiculously HUGE baseball fan.

I wasn't sure how many people appreciated Steve Earle as he's a bit of an aquired taste. And, Ted, he is lucky to be alive, isn't he?

Tex is very cryptic at times. ;)

I saw Steve Earle on Austin City Limits a few years back, and it was great.

He recently married Alison Moorer, who's pretty great in her own right. Let's hope the 7th time's the charm.

SEVEN times? He's clearly insane. ;)
