Well, this is interesting! Obama has pretty much caught up to Billary in this recent CNN poll from Texas! It's now Clinton 50, Obama 48. This could be the one that helps put HRC out of her misery. If so, I will have to figure out a suitable gift of gratitude when we go to Austin in April!
And just to prove I can keep an eye on both sides, I understand Grandpa McCain decided he would take the "no new taxes" pledge on the day that his colleague, Bush 41, endorses him. That worked out really well for him, no? What a great harbinger of things to come. Pretty funny timing, if you ask me.
PS: JD, you're also responsible for making sure Vermont votes properly, too!

You're putting JD in charge of Vermont? Do you realize what you're doing? ;)
I read that about McCain. Sadly, all I thought about was Bush Sr. and his no new taxes policy.
Becks, I gotta tell you, all this making me think is good and all? But my head hurts now.
Thanks. ;)
and I'm in charge of TEXAS! Saaaluuuuuuuute!
I hope we can do it here and reign over billary. A suitable Gift would be just your presence here. :)
Tex, I knew I didn't have to SAY you were in charge of Texas - it's understood, isn't it?? :)
And Jane had better work on Vermont...
Ted, you just need to sit and think about the proper way to vote. I KNOW you have it in ya!!!
shall i send some reinforcements to Vermont? cos I WILL.
Who'da thunk it as recently as a couple of months ago. Obama really seems to have an incredible momentum. I worry a bit about the substance and I still have reservations about his lack of experience.
My sister, who would have voted for Bill for a third term if it had been possible, and was a Hillary fan for a long time, voted for Obama in VA. It's a movement.
As I understand it, already in Vermont we support Obama more than any other candidate. If it comes down to little Vermont in deciding the candidate, I will be beside myself as usually it's wrapped up well before we see the primary.
Yes we can.
If I recall correctly, Vermont has just 15 delegates - but I'm willing to bet almost all of them go to Obama. Long before he even announced his candidacy, Burlington had a grassroots "Encourage Obama to run!" movement. I loved it.
Nonetheless, I'll keep spreading the good word until March 5.
What I'm *really* worried about are today's contests. Hopefully most reasonable Hawaiians and Wisconsonites will see through Hillary's bullsh*t "plagiarism" charge and realize that desperation makes her ugly. (And many thanks to Patrick for backing his friend).
Nice to know Jane can do more than pole dance, isn't it?
:)
\\Jane can do more than pole dance,//
as in Polls. :)
Poll dancing - I love it! :)
(And - go Obama!)
