No, They Wouldn't Do That, Would They??
Would the HRC campaign REALLY do this? I'd like to think they wouldn't stoop so low, but it appears to be a distinct possibility. Man, this campaign is getting way too intense, and it only gives Grandpa McW the edge. Check it out for yourself. The top picture is from the recent debate, the bottom picture is how HRC's team featured Senator Obama in a campaign ad (click on the pix below to see it in full size). You be the judge.

Well, I'm admittedly biased against her - but I just can't help but think this will all come back to bite her in the ass. Her negativity, and cheap-shot politics - especially when juxtaposed with Obama's levelheadededness - can't help but appear desperate. Not to mention it undercuts her (pilfered) message of hope and unity.
It's disappointing, because she's reverting to the same politics-as-usual she claims to want to escape. And it makes me increasingly angry during a time that should be exciting and hopeful.
So, have at it, Hillary. I'll happily watch your campaign self-destruct.
This just takes her calculated evasiveness during Jon Stewart's interview ("I have no reason to believe Barack isn't a Christian") to a whole new level of cheap.
I've just read some of the comments on that website and I'm not convinced this has any legs. What conceivable benefit would Clinton get from pointing out that Obama is black?
Like Bill, she is unelectable without a significant black vote.
